I Am Nearly There..

Another day, another topic and I’m back with something great which will definitely help you in some way or the other. I just want to say a quick thank you from The Parallel Edit and Team to all of you who have been supporting and loving my work. You’ve literally changed my life!

Sometimes, It’s important to remind yourself from where have you started, how long do you have to go on your journey to achieve what you have always wanted and the resources you require to make sure you’re not occupied with stagnation on your path. It’s actually so easy to beat yourself up because you aren’t at the point where you were supposed to be exactly at the time when you started something fresh but trust me, that’s okay.

Like in the last blog post, I had mentioned about the individuals who attain excellent results in their initial months of training but what after 6 months or a year when all those approaches suddenly stop working? That’s where the real process starts.

This weekend I want all of you to focus your mind and energy on realising how far you have come and how close you really are. I want all of you to take a couple of hours free from your busy schedules and reflect on the fact, that how close you actually are on attaining that milestone you have always wished for, how much closer you’re now to your dreams than you were 5-10 years back.

I’m nearly there..

  • Just sit down for a while and think how can you improve. Aggregate thoughts, let them wander your mind for a while and find ways to better yourself in your day to day lifestyle.
  • Trust me, you’re actually just one or two steps away from grooving on to your path. One right decision can actually turn around things for you. Take your steps on the ladder very wisely.
  • You’re just a few steps away from getting everything sorted and lined up. It’s the time to blow the world with your ideas and talents.

After all those months of setbacks, failures, disappointments, messing up, lack of resources and capital to start my own business made me teach many a lesson which simply success and winning can never teach me. Nearly there.. is what I have always used as a mantra to get sorted when things weren’t right. I could actually feel it in my heart that I ain’t that far away.

I just want to conclude here by saying – Keep that craziness within you alive as this will fetch you many a place in your life. Find your 3 hobbies – one to make you money, one to keep you in shape and one to keep you creative!

Like I always say, from The Parallel Edit and Team, I sign off from this article. You’re open to giving your valuable feedback. Shoot me a mail or you can contact me anytime if you’re seeking some help.

Cheers to your success!

Just Breathe!

Hey everyone. How are you all? I hope this year is off to a great start for you!

It’s very easy to join an exercise or gym initially when the progress is very quick when all your results happen to be fast but what after 6 months or a year when all your growth suddenly stops? That’s where the grown-ups are separated from the kids.

GYM, the basic necessity of the modern era, cravings for curves has set levels of competitions, trust me its same like cracking an IIT exam. Achieving the muscularity was never easy, you need to work on a lot many things before you start the journey.

  • MOTIVATION –

The motivation never comes easy, if it comes then it won’t be staying long, choosing the right method, trainer or influencer is important. Whether you’re looking to take home first place or just want to go faster than the person next to you on the treadmill, friendly competition has some major boosting power. So, a little friendly competition can definitely light a fire within you.

  • MINDSET –

Prepare your mind for the worst, muscles never come easy. When you focus on growth mindset, you embrace all the things that have felt threatening: challenge, criticism and setbacks. When you embrace the tough stuff, you open yourself to fully realize your potential and all that you can be. Instead, depending on the trainer, steroids you should focus on capabilities, strength and discover your own self. Workout with a proper mindset and with the thought that you have to break your own ‘HARD AND FAST RULES’.

  • GOALS –

Goals, both long term and short term are necessary, not only setting a goal but accomplishing them also. Either gaining or losing short goals are basic while setting goals you need to be pragmatic.

Set your own benchmarks. The most important thing is to KNOW YOUR BODY. YOUR STRENGTHS, YOUR WEAKNESSES, YOUR CAPABILITIES, HOW MUCH YOU CAN PAIN YOUR BODY.

Like I always say, analyse and track your progress when in a gym and reward yourself for every achievement you attain. It all starts with a change in perspective. Shift your thinking from couch potato mentality to thinking like an athlete.

Though, it is not easy to just let go of something that you have been following since years. The growth mindset does not allow people to love what you are doing, making this physical activity as a part of life will be life-changing for you, accept it as a lifestyle, not as a burden or a forced job.

Hereby, I would like to quote one example – Wilma Rudolph, 3 gold medal holder in Olympics also was known as world “fastest woman”. Wilma was far from a physical wonder as a youngster. She was a premature baby, the twenty of the twenty-two children born to her parents, and a constantly sick child. At four years of age, she almost died of pneumonia, scarlet fever and POLIO. She almost lost hope of walking properly. Her positive mindset was that which changed her life upside down.

After setting up of a positive and growing mindset choosing the right diet is your next steps, diet is never same for all. Consult an experienced dietitian for the plan.

Because at the end its 50% diet and 50% workout.

Start Before Its Too Late. Sore Today, Strong Tomorrow!

So, that’s all for this article. I hope you had a great time reading this. Always welcome for your valuable feedbacks. In case of any queries or anything you would like to share regarding this article, you can shoot me a mail.

From The Parallel Edit and Team, I would like to thank Sanchi Sapra for helping me out in writing this blog post.

See you in the next one, people!

How To Stay Motivated During Your Exams!

Okay, so boards are around the corner. The clock is running faster than normal and it’s almost time to show your potential on the sheet but firstly, I just want to congratulate and say –  All the best to each and every one of you who are appearing in these board exams. Nervous? Confused? Happens!

Being senior to you and your elder brother, trust me this phase will actually show what you truly are. You’ll get to know yourself well, you’ll be able to communicate with yourself in a better way and those intuitions will definitely strike. You just got to listen to them, believe in them and work hard. Like I always say, focus on your strengths and not your weaknesses.

The time you get between your exams is actually very crucial so make sure you are utilising your time well. Your performance in the exam is directly proportional to what you feed your mind today. You might be a good performer in the whole semester but if you aren’t moving with a positive mental game, you’ll not be able to achieve the standards you have set for yourself. So, having a positive mindset is what you need to focus on apart from your studies.

I have always believed in this one simple principle – ‘The one who works hard will never experience failure.’ The one who expects way too much and doesn’t work up to the bar will never stand a place. So, it’s better to accept what you’re capable of doing, accept your mistakes and rather than leaving them, work on them and improve.

How to study effectively for the exams?

  1. With so much of competition prevailing in the Indian Education System, I have just one simple tip to offer – Meditate as much as you can and then sit for your studies. Don’t let the peer pressure affect your mindset. You don’t have to hurry, you don’t have to run fast as you may get down. Work and run at your own speed, don’t try to act smart and overtake. Believe in yourself, your hard work will determine your success rate.
  2. Time Management is what you have to work on. Not every exam will have 7 days off so prepare your schedule in such a way, that each topic gets sufficient time and priority.
  3. If you’re not a fast writer, practice writing when you’re studying. Eventually, it will help you to enhance your speed and make notes simultaneously will help you to learn fastly.
  4. You have to forget about the marks at this time, as this can build up stress in your head. Focus on working rather than stressing over.
  5. On the course of studying, we usually forget to get our hands on mastering the basics. If you have sufficient time, start with the basics first and then move onto the important topics.
  6. For some maths is really a tough subject to handle, and they plan to polish it at the end. However, it is you who will appear for the exam, whatever strategy you make, stick to it.

In the end, I just want to conclude by saying – Be a Self Motivator, nobody else is going to do that for you. Rather than stressing over, enjoy and work hard in this phase. Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something in you and that is greater than any obstacle.

All the very best to the students appearing in board exams. Blessings for y’all!

I value your feedback so don’t hesitate to email me with any questions.

Cheers to your success!

Everyone has a story!

Howdy, People!

In the last blog post, I had made a discussion on why being focussed is mandatory when you’re working on a dream. We are in the last days of this year and I really don’t know how many of you actually implemented your plans this year, but tell me, are you ready for 2018? Are you?

Waiting for that perfect time to come –  is actually a phrase I have been listening to from the past few years. ‘I have to wait for the perfect time and then I’ll start executing my plans’. Do you really think the opportunities surpassing will wait for your perfect time? Actually, NO!

Everyone has a story, A story to tell. A story is hidden within the walls of the pumping machine. It might or might not be a love story but can be a story of dreams, hope, failure, survival and what not. I believe everyone has a story to tell, a lesson to teach and a wisdom to share.

I actually feel inspired when it comes down to listening to someone’s experiences. Everyone have different perspectives, different challenges and these stories are what can get you moving on your path. Like I always say, we humans are actually very intricate. We define ourselves with the circumstances or the environment we live in.

What’s my story?

2017 had actually been a year of success for me. And you know why? I had never stopped working. I didn’t care about the time I was working, I just knew I have to move no matter what. I’m just like you people. High in life, Procrastinator to some extent, enjoy my arena, even I have experienced heartbreaks but you know what? Working is Worship!

Worship your dream and things will fall so hard in your place. The one who is working with all of his heart will never ever fail irrespective of how many difficult circumstances he/she may get in. I have always treated my blog like a business and I have always considered it to be a real-world startup. The only difference lies is in the way you work, the way people sees you and your work. Stories without a struggle are meaningless. These struggles do build you!

You just have to plant the seed, nurture and nourish and upon growing, you’ll get what you have always wanted and the same is your dream. Lay the foundation, work and work on it, and when you cross the finish line, believe me, it will change your life forever. Are you ready for it?

Action is the foundational key to success!

You know what is the reason why I love writing so much? Sometimes, it’s not about the money, not the popularity but sometimes all you want to be is the word for the silent ones, a leader for the weak ones and a character for the stronger ones.

Believe me, you all were created with a purpose. Just go out there, express yourselves, enjoy the precious moments and make a difference by being a difference.

Have a great end of this year and don’t forget to plan out for 2018.

Much love!

XOXO

Oh me? Just working on my dreams!

Howdy, my lovely people!

I know I have not been publishing anything from the past few days and I’m really sorry about it but I just follow one simple rule – whenever inspiration strikes, just write it down and you’ll remember the words without even grasping anything.

Oh me? Just working on my dreams!

Imagine you have been surrounded by so many unknown persons and at the same moment, someone asks you, what are you currently working for? What are you going to answer? Do you think the time you have been wasting planning your holidays and relaxing will get back to you? Will surely not. Are you actually working for yourself and on yourself?

Well, the answer is known but I understand it’s difficult to accept, sometimes, but my friend, this is the right time to start your plan for your evolution in 2018. Start building your 2018 from this time so that you don’t have to wait for ideas to strike your mind. Since everyone is busy on their vacations, prefer spending some quality time alone, thinking of all the things you want from the upcoming year and don’t forget to pen down on a paper.

I have been in touch with so many people lately, on emails, social media and what not but the only thing I found in them was the lack of innovation that is the ability to create ideas into invoices. I’m not saying that they weren’t hard working or something, but they just lacked the smartness it requires to turn a stone into gold.

I want to share a photo with you guys. I hope this picture actually helps you out in working out the things easily.

This picture has actually been a life-changing picture for me. So it’s your call.

Decide and analyse like on which platform today you stand. It will totally be your actions which will play a key role in deciding your current step. Play wisely.

Try out this picture in any situation and imagine yourself on the stair you currently are. Allot a time that you have to complete your project/assignment or whatever by this time. Analyse the number of stairs you’re far from the last stair and accordingly work. You’ll definitely reach and the results will be overwhelming and that’s a promise. Try it out!

Dream it, Believe it, See it, Tell it, Plan it, Work it and most importantly, Enjoy it!

So, that’s all for today. It’s necessary to enjoy your success and hard work. Reward yourself for everything you achieve and that’s a good habit!

See you in the next one, people!

BE KIND!

Howdy, My Lovelies!

Saturday, Cold outside and as usual in my blanket so thought of writing something valuable and worth reading for you people. You know what’s the best compliment any writer can ever get? When his/her audience starts connecting with his/her words and that is more of like a winning scene. You people have been very supportive on this journey and I have been thanking you in almost every of my blog post since I genuinely feel the need.

Shireen Manocha, who is the guest blogger for this week is actually someone whom I have admired throughout all my school life. The way she writes, the way she presents her work, her attitude towards living a positive life and the leadership qualities she possesses has what made her stronger and better with time.

Let’s get started!

So, what’s all on your To-do list? Dream big? Work hard? Follow your routines? Dieting? Completion of assignments? Have you ever thought of being kind? Ask this from yourself as you and only you have that answer. I read this somewhere that you can be anything in this world so why not be kind? Why not?

I actually come across so many people in my day to day routine and what I have always found lacking is Compassion. So, first of all, what actually is compassion? Compassion literally means “to suffer together.” It is defined as the feeling that arises when you are confronted with another’s suffering and feel motivated to relieve that suffering. Are you doing it enough for yourself or for somebody?

How can you be a compassionate person?

  • Find commonalities with other people
  • Don’t put emphasis on money
  • Be kind to yourself and others
  • Express gratitude
  • Teach others and help the needy
  • High emotional intelligence

Let’s face it, the world isn’t the beautiful place you imagined, with unicorns and rainbows adorning the sky, or as John Green so aptly put it, “The world isn’t a wish-granting factory.”

People are mean and selfish, and the world at large is conspiring to put you down, and you have to deal with it, alone, for everyone you considered a friend turned their backs when you most needed them.

It’s at times like these, that pin you down by the throat, that you must work on your compassion and visualise a world filled with more love and less chaos – for you can bring this change. Your world has to be you, and this large existence in its entirety, you are your world, and create your own sphere of kindness and happiness for that is what will lead you to success.

A little inner peace, the happiness of doing something nice but also being a little less selfish and realising how the same world put someone else down too – Be their saviour. Be their saviour and they would remember you, and one day, I assure you, you would taste success, for success is fame and dynamics but it’s also passion and stability.

Compassion is another key to be successful in your path irrespective of which road you have chosen. Follow the patronus and you’ll be delighted with the upcoming.

BE SILLY. BE HONEST. BE KIND ALWAYS!

Thank you, Shireen Manocha for inspiring with your words. Check out her blog and don’t forget to follow her on her social media handles. Read her work!

TO THE LAST MONTH!

Howdy, People!

So, this is the last month of this year. Before starting up anything, I would like to thank you, people, for constantly supporting me in this journey, to make me realise writing is what I’m best at and should continue with my work. Everyone reading this blog, just make sure to thank your loved ones for all the good times they had given you in this year. Cheers!

The blog titled ” TO THE LAST MONTH” is just a blueprint for all those who are actually willing to work hard for their dreams and desires, irrespective, of what circumstances they’re in, stood even after many failures and still want to make a change. Don’t wait for the new year to start and then you’ll be executing your decisions. Start from this day itself so that you don’t have to wait for anything and anyone!

Forget about those past 11 months and it’s time to focus on the present. Let’s give it a fresh and positive start so that you can execute every single plan or wish you just had in your mind which will be beneficial for you in long run.

I believe December is the most important month of the year as you can finish the year off strongly and make REAL PROGRESS when everyone around you is slacking off and thinking about the holidays. Don’t get carried away like everyone else especially if you’re behind on your goals and dreams.

Here are some quick tips which I want to share with you people!

  • Make the most of this month and work on your idea since everyone around you is relaxing and slowing down. Make the most of this time.
  • Work at your highest level and it’s the time to prepare yourself for the upcoming year.
  • It’s the right time to avoid distraction and make it happen, what you have always missed out!
  • Stop complaining and whining about every small thing. Patience is what you need and just believe in yourself and your timings. Things will get in your way at the right time and in the right manner.
  • Occasional practice gives occasional results. Dream every time and work on your idea daily.
  • You’ve got to dedicate yourself every day to master yourself. Your belief in yourself will what get you on the top.
  • Invest your time in yourself and for yourself. Put in every single effort required to develop the right skill and knowledge in this so competitive world.
  • It’s the right time to build your network, to meet new people and gain more knowledge.
  • Experimentations may get you failed but the experience to fail will teach you how to get one step ahead.

Trust me, It will be alright. Don’t ask me how I know this, I do. Even in the darkest of our times, the sun will still rise and the stars will still appear at night. Trust me, you have that power and strength to move in the direction that inspires you.

Follow your heart, do what you believe in and create beautiful work that touches your souls and simply takes your breath away!

Make the most of this last month and don’t forget to thank your loved ones.

See you in the next one, people!

Walk in Courage!

So, another week. Another day. And I’m back here for you guys with another write up on another important discussion. So, you guys must be thinking what next I’m going to write for you people. Is it? Just like you people, even I get excited when it comes to writing the content every week.

WALK IN COURAGE. What actually does that mean?

textgram_1510934490

Why do we get discouraged? Why do we feel alone and lost when everything is going fine? Have you ever experienced that anxiety running down your nerves, when you’re lagging behind on anything? Do you feel something relatable? Do you? It’s just that we see the problems and our challenges bigger and stronger than us, ultimately what discourages us and we feel like quitting.

Every time you compare the problem with yourself, nothing, but only heart will bear the burden of disappointments, start comparing your problems with your god, courage will fill in your heart and life will get so easy and serene. Is it so difficult to walk now?

According to you, what is actually meant by courage? Courageous are those who have the will to leave their bad past behind and work for their good one. For me courageous are those, who have fallen end number of times but still wish to get up and come back stronger, courageous are those who don’t wait for the critics to define them. They create their own definition. Knowing when to walk away is what I call as wisdom, being able to walk is what I call as courage and walking with your head held high is what I define as dignity.

blog_stairs_1540

Believe me, it’s not always the joy ride it seems. No journey is ever smooth but it’s the courage which may change our serious incidents into life-changing experiences and like I’ll always say, never stop whatever may happen next. The moment you stop is the same moment you may lag behind. It’s just your road, check on the milestones, drive and just enjoy your ride. Make it worthwhile!

See you in the next one, people!

I BELIEVE IN YOU!

XOXO
