Drifting away with the wind, blown up by the immense stress, unaware of what’s happening around, mind block getting down on your veins, things not rolling into your place and that’s how I can sum up the life of our adults – broke, unstable and insatiable!

 

 

Overthinking and anxiety go hand in hand. It can stop you from enjoying your social events, disturb your sleep, undermine your job performance and what not so typically, overthinking can make you leave not only mentally disturbed but exhausted. Trust me, it can actually get your walls down. So, this blog post is for all those who have a habit of overthinking and constant anxiety issues.

What is Overthinking?

 

 

Overthinking is actually “under-thinking”. It is basically the repetition of obsessive, non- productive thoughts that are likely to be bothering you and often, overthinking is the result of a combination of issues that haven’t been fully analyzed. Over-thinking triggers worry – worry destroys your capacity to take and stick by your decisions. Over-thinking leads to increased circulation of blood throughout the brain and body – this leads to an Inability to relax, easily angered and always feeling something bad/wrong is going to happen.

 

Stop Overthinking. Negativity lives there!

 

What are the Symptoms and Signs of Overthinking and Anxiety –

  • You can’t sleep.
  • You self- medicate.
  • You’re always tired.
  • You want to control everything.
  • You obsess about failure.
  • You don’t trust your own judgement.
  • You get tension headaches.

 

 

How can you tackle them?

  • Awareness is the beginning of change.

 

 

Being aware of what’s happening inside and outside of you is necessary. People often tend to confuse between sadness and being depressed. If you know what’s going on with you, this means you’re sad and not depressed. So, on the primary importance talk to yourself, and find out what’s going wrong in the system. Any time you find yourself doubting or feeling stressed or anxious without any reason, step back and look at the moment on how you’re responding.

Awareness is the seed of the change you want to make!

 

  • Don’t think of what can go wrong but think of what can go right.

A single emotion, fear has the power to turn your most beautiful frames to disasters. If you’re focusing on all the negative things that might happen to you if you have actually made it easy for you to become paralyzed of the situation.  Just stop!

Visualize all those things that can go in your favour and look forward to a good time awaiting you!

 

 

  • Swirl yourself into happiness.

Being happy and spreading love and happiness will not only give you strength to fight but also the power to stand in those tough times. Be a happy yet dope soul. Spend time on things like meditation, in your hobbies and trust me, this will distance you from all those issues enough to get you mad.

 

  • Change your view of fear.

With deep fear comes deep anxiety. I have observed people being in fear about exams, about their interviews and you know what’s the only thing common in each and everyone? Prediction of the outcome even before the deed was done. Funny, isn’t it?

Remember every opportunity is a new beginning, a place to start again!

 

  • Accept your best.

Not accepting what you are capable of might lead you to unwanted destinations. The fear that grounds overthinking is often based on the feeling that you’re not good enough, or smart enough or hardworking enough. Once you’ve given an effort, accept it as look forward to the results. Don’t stress too much as the results are not in your control so why worry? You have already done what you could do.

How To Stay Motivated During Your Exams!

Okay, so boards are around the corner. The clock is running faster than normal and it’s almost time to show your potential on the sheet but firstly, I just want to congratulate and say –  All the best to each and every one of you who are appearing in these board exams. Nervous? Confused? Happens!

 

 

Being senior to you and your elder brother, trust me this phase will actually show what you truly are. You’ll get to know yourself well, you’ll be able to communicate with yourself in a better way and those intuitions will definitely strike. You just got to listen to them, believe in them and work hard. Like I always say, focus on your strengths and not your weaknesses.

The time you get between your exams is actually very crucial so make sure you are utilising your time well. Your performance in the exam is directly proportional to what you feed your mind today. You might be a good performer in the whole semester but if you aren’t moving with a positive mental game, you’ll not be able to achieve the standards you have set for yourself. So, having a positive mindset is what you need to focus on apart from your studies.

 

 

I have always believed in this one simple principle – ‘The one who works hard will never experience failure.’ The one who expects way too much and doesn’t work up to the bar will never stand a place. So, it’s better to accept what you’re capable of doing, accept your mistakes and rather than leaving them, work on them and improve.

  1. With so much of competition prevailing in the Indian Education System, I have just one simple tip to offer – Meditate as much as you can and then sit for your studies. Don’t let the peer pressure affect your mindset. You don’t have to hurry, you don’t have to run fast as you may get down. Work and run at your own speed, don’t try to act smart and overtake. Believe in yourself, your hard work will determine your success rate.
  2. Time Management is what you have to work on. Not every exam will have 7 days off so prepare your schedule in such a way, that each topic gets sufficient time and priority.
  3. If you’re not a fast writer, practice writing when you’re studying. Eventually, it will help you to enhance your speed and make notes simultaneously will help you to learn fastly.
  4. You have to forget about the marks at this time, as this can build up stress in your head. Focus on working rather than stressing over.
  5. On the course of studying, we usually forget to get our hands on mastering the basics. If you have sufficient time, start with the basics first and then move onto the important topics.
  6. For some maths is really a tough subject to handle, and they plan to polish it at the end. However, it is you who will appear for the exam, whatever strategy you make, stick to it.

Venture Down A New Path

It baffles me every time when someone asks me how to do something, gets the perfect answer to it and does nothing. A great man has said – If you put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread to work and your life. There are no limits, only plateaus. You must not stay there and try to go beyond them. But you must be wondering how one can change everything in a go and switch to a completely different path in a moment?

Venture Down A New Path

The process of finding a new path is necessary if you’re too attached to the older one and have that fear of failing there. So, venture down a new path, a path which is completely unknown to you but your heart still has that urge for audacity and travel. If you’re on your way to find a new path, you should always have these points in mind before starting your journey and these are –

  • Be kind and compassionate
  • Work hard as hell in whatever way you choose.
  • Take breaks and appreciate life and the universe.

The difficulty of finding yet alone path was brought to mind when I was in my Class 12th. Seriously lost, had no idea, had no resources but yet had that belief which actually worked for me a 1000 times more it could ever have. The moment you have a mindset shift is exactly the same moment which can turn your life upside down as you move ahead. That was the same time, I started venturing down something big, unaware where it may take me but had that confidence of risking everything which everyone doesn’t have.

It made me think, isn’t this sometimes the label we give ourselves when we’re on a path that isn’t right or isn’t working and all we choose is to keep quitting?

Trust me, I have scrambled down the maze to get out. No one likes the feeling of hitting hard against the walls, but if you have that courage to stand in front of your problems, you will definitely shape and sculpt the dream you have always wanted to live and that’s where the winners survive. Not having a plan for what we want in life can lead to low motivation and a sense of purposelessness.

How To Find The Right Direction In Life

Underpinning the struggle that many of us have with venturing or changing a path is due to fear of failure. If you don’t choose if you can’t fail but you cannot succeed either. So, the question is how do we move past the fear of failure?

  • STOP OVERTHINKING – So much of our stress and anxiety about the future stems from all the analysis and thinking we do as adults. We ask ourselves all sorts of questions. I recall countless nights lying awake, entertaining ideas, and wrestling with my soul. I tried so hard to figure out where I would end up that I often felt defeated before I even began and that actually burnt me down from within. Thinking about what is required and what is beneficial for you will help to open the mind up to the possibilities of today.

 

  • TRY ANYTHING BUT DO SOMETHING – The no.1 rule if you’re on your way to find a new path has to be doing something which can yield value in your life when you look ahead for the next 5 years. When you take action and start doing things, you begin to feel better almost immediately. by trying, moving, asking, engaging, experimenting, and walking forward, you are one step further than where you were yesterday. And you just never know where that one step will lead you.

 

  • FOLLOW YOUR INNER VOICE – Intuition has always played the most decisive role in the making or breaking of any individual. Trust your Gut!

Hello, my lovely people!

So, It’s the second weekend of this new year and I hope you people aren’t actually wasting your time sitting in the blankets and eating dry fruits. So, how was your all over performance for this week? Analyse and evaluate. There’s no looking back and It’s the right time to configure yourself!

What do you infer from the title ‘Trust your Gut!’?

Intuition has always played the most decisive role in the making or breaking of any individual. It’s the intuition which can lead you to the road you may not even think of but the only condition lies is the ability of a person to trust upon his gut feelings and accordingly produce the desired action. The one who knows how to trust his intuition will surely never fail in his life and will always be on the winning end and the one, ignoring will have to face the consequences later in their life. So, in which category do you belong?

It is, therefore, very important to learn how to listen to and trust your gut. Don’t worry I’ll teach you the right tactic to perform if you’re finding yourself in such a condition.

When it comes to decision-making, Knowledge is Power. But what about the knowledge that comes from an unconventional source? Trusting your gut is an old age advice since your instincts are usually right.

The quirky urge, a funny tingle, that little voice in your head. These are your gut feelings talking to you but the question is, what are they telling you? Should you listen to them? And, the answer is a big yes!

Intuition is knowing something without you being able to explain how you have arrived at the conclusion. These messages which you get from inside can be just silent warnings or reminders and in retrospect, may be right or even wrong. Those intuitions which are related to your own thoughts and emotions may end up being partially correct or even completely wrong. But, trust me you can learn the technique to figure out or identify when they are more likely to be correct.

How can you get in touch with your intuition?

  • Firstly, get the biggest distraction out that is your cell phones. Keep them aside for a while and go for a walk. Enjoy the fresh air.
  • Be quiet for a while.
  • Meditation has proven to be the best method to interact with your own body mechanism. Prefer doing it daily!
  • Tune in to how these gut instincts show up in your body.

When you actually follow these tips, believe me, you’ll exaggerate all the negative vibes from your body, you’ll pay much more attention to what’s going on around you and moreover, you’ll be able to connect with others.

So, now focusing on how can you strengthen your intuition?

  • Meditate daily and you’ll find yourself in peace.
  • Pay close attention to your dreams.
  • Get much more creative. Spend quality time on improving yourself, Self-development and yeah, It’s important to enjoy what’s going on around you. Trust me, it will introduce all the positive vibes in you and you may find a change in your mindset which is definitely a good thing.
  • It’s very important to escape from your daily routines. Try out new thing often whether it may be from your point of interest or whatever.

So, always trust your gut sense, it knows everything even before head has figured out. These are the silent voices which don’t use words so listen. Listen carefully!
