How To Make Your Weekends Extremely Productive!

Any real content creator on the grind knows that there really is no difference between a weekday and a weekend. It’s a job where you have to work at least 6 days a week, have to update yourself daily, and no excuses from running off from work. Well, that was just my story but trust me, if you’re loving the process, nothing is going to stop you from reaching your set goal.

Every day matters, and it’s up to you how you choose to make it productive and how seriously you’re actually taking your venture. It’s not easy to say NO to your Saturday festivities and force yourself to keep on making moves.

It’s not like I don’t enjoy or hang out on weekends, but the ones who know me well, do know me as a person who is going to complete his work first, irrespective of the time it is going to take and then move forward for the next activity. You know that’s how things should roll. Agree?

Writing this blog was more about observing my own behaviour towards weekends and other’s as well and trust me, this ended up being funny in most cases. Let me share some of the ways I have learned to make my Saturday grind added with more fun. Here I go!

  • REWARD YOURSELF –

I’m a person who believes so much in preparing notes and reminders for almost every activity. I don’t know writing has always helped me in every possible way it can. You and only you know what all activities do you carry in a week so accordingly, prepare your TO-DO LIST! To-do list is actually fun if maintained properly. Make a schedule of how are you going to work this whole week.

Set a proper goal for a week and divide them into some few subgoals. At the end of the week, review your performance and accordingly, celebrate every new project you fulfil on time or before time. That’s how working should be processed.

  • TURN ON A SILENT MOVIE –

Turning on a silent movie can be a great kick as it can provide you with an escape for a little bit of time. This is something that made me feel less alone as a teenager – and is a tactic I still use today. If you’re a person who loves listening to music, go for some slow songs at a low voice. It’s important to take some time off from these busy schedules and just relax for a while. Play with your younger siblings or just go out for a walk. All these measures have actually helped me in processing my day to day activities. What really matters is that you actually get work done anyway.

  • WORK ALONGSIDE A FRIEND –

This can be difficult as it requires the right type of friendship but if you have this sort of a person in your life, do this as often as possible. Find someone you can work alongside effectively and productively. The goal here is to work with someone who shares similar goals as you, or even someone you’re collaborating on a project with so that you can get the work done, together.

  • MAKE IT A CREATIVE DAY –

Something I have written about a lot and so do tell people is how you should keep moving forward and stretch your muscles a bit to get your work done. If you still want to feel somewhat productive but just can’t get into your flow, make it a creative day. Draw, play the guitar, watch a movie with your family. Do something which can spark your creativity back again and get you thinking in a right direction.

  • DO ALL OF THE ABOVE –

I’ll be honest here – I have a habit of rewarding myself every week, whether it be clothes (most of the times since I so love fashion), eat my favourite food, watch my all time favourite movies and de-stress myself from all the tough days I had been through previously.

Just because everybody is going out on a Saturday night, doesn’t mean even you have to. If you would rather work on something that means a lot to you, then I’ll suggest trying all of the above measures and add some fun to your grind.

How To Become The Best Version Of Yourself?

You are here in this world for three main reasons. The first one is to experience as many different things as possible and enjoy life to the full. The second one is to create, contribute, share, and leave a positive legacy behind.

And the third reason why you’re here on this planet is to improve, evolve, grow and become the best version of yourself.

Another day, another blog post and another story which might trail down to motivate you in some way or the other.

Before sleeping and after waking up, do ask this question to yourself that ‘what kind of person do you want to be?’

I mean everybody wants to be rich, wants to have a good lifestyle and most importantly ‘have it all’.

With time, I have noticed three ugly qualities that resist a human to become his/her best version and that is –

  • Greed
  • Vanity
  • Addiction

  • Having It All –

I have actually come across people who have a tendency of equating their success with ‘having it all’, but this can end up a slippery slope. The appetite for success develops into greed.

I have met many bloggers and influencers who were unhappy, negative people. It surprised me because It looked like they had it all. But deep down they hadn’t done the work of figuring out what kind of person they wanted to be.

Let me ask you the same question again, What kind of person do you want to be?

  • Vanity –

Living in a culture of entertainment and celebrities, a lot of people succumb to vanity. I mean we all want to look good, isn’t it?

Recently, I was just passing from a gym and saw a man with a good built, shaved legs and ripped. I don’t know but after having all that which we humans consider as ‘perfect’, I found that man to be very unhappy. You know what the problem is? We spend an enormous amount of time, energy and money in improving our looks and developing our character.

Becoming the best version of yourself is far away from just sculpted muscles, waxed chests and whitened teeth. It requires intellectual enrichment, empathy, sacrifice for others and the most important quality – Kindness!

  • All things in Moderation –

Perhaps, more than vanity and greed, addiction account for the grief in most people lives. The problem is that we like some things way too much. We pursue them at all costs and become addicted.

Living in a country like India where addictions are just accounted for drinking alcohol and sexual misbehaviour, there are so many other addictions out there which are neglected –  Social media addiction, food addiction, addiction to drama, even healthy pursuits like fitness can become a destructive addiction.

Addictions can be treated. Simply ask yourself what kind of person you want to be? The answer will come to you and then what? Begin the process right away. You can always make changes and become the best version.

No matter who you’re, no matter what you did, no matter where you’ve come from, you can always change and become a better version of yourself!

That’s all for today. You can write me down on arpitpahwa4@gmail.com or can easily connect with me on any of my social handles given in the right-hand sidebar.

Thank you for stopping by until the end.

Don’t forget to add value to others as they’ll come back when the time comes.

Have a great week, ahead!

See you in the next one!

SUCCESS IN SEVEN WORDS

If I ask you to sum up all that happened in your life in just six words, what do you think those words will be? Are you capable enough to define them in just six words?

Firstly, this blog post is for all those who find happiness and a sense of satisfaction in working hard. If you’re looking at improving your insights over and above the hard work that you put in, then you probably will gain substantially from this post. Being an entrepreneur, I have seen people falling hard, stagnate, and some even at their worst stage. For a while, I just had a thought and tried figuring out what actually makes people successful and soon I realised that there is no cookie-cutter approach to being successful.

Trust me, It’s not that tougher as you think. Just a few behaviour changes, some management methods and perhaps a combination of both of them can lead you to your destination.

Success in Seven Words

Is it really true? Here, in this post, I have tried to reproduce connections for your benefit, hopefully, which will make you think better. Let’s find out!

  • See your Goal –

You cannot just expect yourself to reach where you have always wanted to, without having any vision. Like I always say, just sitting there and thinking will not turn that one rupee into those million dollars you have been wishing for. Go out there, express yourself and do something. Arpit, what’s your biggest resource? Your brain. Extract out the information and write down on a piece of paper and start implementing them in sections. The easier you take things, the better will be the flow.

  • Understand the obstacles –

The one who understands his circumstances well, the one who can easily understand his obstacle well will always stand with a head held high and you know why? Some people see obstacles as a puzzle to solve. Some see obstacles as an opportunity to grow. Others see obstacles as threats. Still, others see obstacles as meaning they cannot succeed. Your view of barriers to achieving your goals affects how you react.

  • Create a positive mental picture –

Trust me, our vision is just a series of mental pictures. These pictures are stored as our version of “reality.” We did not intentionally put these pictures in our minds, they were accumulated by where we lived, who we are around and our family values. Try to make them as beautiful as you can and the next step is just your hard work. Are you ready for it?

  • Clear your mind of self-doubt –

Doubting your potential, doubting your inner self will not get you anywhere. It’s worth repeating: self-doubt must be examined if it prevents you from living an enriching life. Cut the negativity within you and shift your mind towards the world full of positivity.

To overcome self-doubt requires affirmative action while being attentive to the inner critic — that is, you take action in spite of the doubt.

  • Embrace the challenge –

Challenges reveal our limitations and strengths at the same time. We are human. We are finite. We are limited. We don’t know everything. And certainly cannot do everything. Challenges offer us a platform to rise above the natural and connect with the Supernatural. Take up the opportunity, analyse the condition of the pitch, analyse the requirement and then play your shot. Don’t panic, the ball will definitely come on to you, you just got to pay attention and take up the challenge with your open arms.

  • Stay on track –

You and only you know, what you’re capable of doing. Nurture your craft well and it will pay you off later in your life. Distractions can get you off but you just have to make sure to stick your leg on the path you have chosen. Focus on fewer goals, plan ahead of your time ( to some extent ), set milestones and don’t forget to track your progress.

  • Show the world you can do it! –

It’s the right time to step forward and choose your own way. Show them what you’re capable of producing but don’t forget to keep away from people who try to belittle you or your ambitions. Small people tend to do that, but the really great one will make you feel that you, too, can become great.

So, as the letters are highlighted above, you can easily make out how easy getting to success is provided with your consistent efforts to make that possible.

Don’t downgrade your dreams to match your reality. Upgrade your faith to match your vision.

I hope you had a good time reading this one. Will see you in the next article!
